The Martins settled Maysville, KY very early in its history. Micajah Martin moved north of the Ohio River into Ohio and thence to Hancock county, Indiana, where his dau Mary married Lot Wright. 

   The Wrights apparently came from Pennsylvania about the same time and/or with the Gard family. The Gards settled in Preble county Ohio. 

   Lot and Mary Martin Wright settled in Hancock county, Indiana, but moved to Preble county for a time - a couple of their children were born in Ohio.
